Color

The current color is shown in the round color well in the tool dock. It is used by the brush, fill, shapes, and text.

Picking a color

• Tap the color well to open the full color picker, where you can choose any color, mix your own, or enter a hex code.
• In a tool's settings panel you will also see Swatches and Recent colors for quick reuse.

Swatches and recents

• Recent: colors you have used lately, so you can jump back to them.
• Swatches: a saved palette. Tap + to add the current color to your swatches, so your favorite colors are always one tap away.

Swatches and recents are shared across all your projects.

Eyedropper

To reuse a color that is already in your drawing, use the Eyedropper tool and tap that spot on the canvas. The color well updates to match, and the color is added to your recents. See Text & Eyedropper.

TIP

Opacity is set per tool (in the brush or shape settings), separately from the color. That way you can keep one color but paint it lightly or solidly.
