DoodLoop is free to use. Everything you need to draw, animate, add sound, and share is included, with no ads and no watermarks.
DoodLoop Pro is an optional, one-time purchase that raises the ceiling for people who want pro-level output. There is no subscription.
What's always free
Everything creative:
- Every brush and drawing tool, all layers, blend modes, and glow.
- Onion skin, symmetry, and as many frames as you like.
- Sound: record, import, and multiple tracks.
- Export to MP4 and GIF, up to 1080p, never watermarked.
- Your files, backup, and restore.
Kids and casual creators can make and share a complete animation without paying a cent.
What Pro unlocks
Pro is about bigger, smoother, higher-quality output:
- Frame rates: animate at 24, 30, and 60 fps for fluid motion (free is up to 12 fps).
- Canvas size: draw on canvases up to 4096px (free is up to 1920px).
- Pro export: 4K / canvas-native resolution, plus HEVC, APNG, and PNG sequence formats.
- Frame notes: scribble private notes on any frame (even in the margin) for feedback and reminders, never drawn into your art or exported.
Buying and restoring
- Tap any Upgrade to DoodLoop Pro button (in Settings, or when you reach a Pro option) to see the price and purchase.
- It is a one-time purchase tied to your Apple ID.
- New iPad, or reinstalled the app? Tap Restore Purchase and Pro comes back at no charge.
Why one-time and not a subscription
DoodLoop runs entirely on your device, there are no servers to pay for, so charging every month would not be fair. You buy Pro once and own it.
