Is DoodLoop free?

Yes. Everything you need to make and share an animation is free, with no ads and no watermarks. An optional one-time Pro unlock adds higher frame rates, bigger canvases, and pro export formats. There is no subscription.

Do I need an Apple Pencil?

No. A finger works great. An Apple Pencil adds pressure and tilt for more expressive strokes, but it is optional. See Brushes.

What iPad do I need?

Any iPad running iPadOS 18 or later.

Is there an iPhone or Mac version?

Not yet. DoodLoop is designed for iPad first.

Are my drawings watermarked?

Never. Exports are clean. There is an optional "Made with DoodLoop" credit you can turn on, but it is off by default. See Export.

Where are my projects saved?

As .doodloop files in the Files app under On My iPad › DoodLoop. You own them and can copy them anywhere. See Your files.

Can I import my FlipaClip animations?

Yes, with their layers intact. See Import.

How do I back up my work?

DoodLoop saves as you go, and you can back up your whole library to a folder or iCloud Drive. See Backup & restore.

I deleted a project by accident. Can I get it back?

Check Recently Deleted on the home screen. See Your files.

Does DoodLoop collect my data?

No. DoodLoop collects no personal data and needs no account. See Privacy.

I bought Pro but it is gone on my new iPad.

Tap Restore Purchase in Settings. Your Pro unlock is tied to your Apple ID and comes back at no charge. See Pro.
