Time-lapse
DoodLoop can record a time-lapse of how you draw, then turn it into a video you can share, separate from your animation. It is the "watch it come together" clip, not the animation itself.
Recording
- Tap the film-strip button in the top bar.
- Turn on Record while I draw. The film-strip button turns red while recording is on.
- Draw. DoodLoop quietly snapshots your canvas every couple of seconds as you work. It keeps recording across sessions, so a project builds up its whole history.
The time-lapse is never part of your animation: it does not show up in playback or your export.
Making the video
Open the film-strip panel again to see how many frames you have captured and how long the time-lapse will run.
- Pick a speed (12, 24, 30, or 60 fps): higher is faster and shorter.
- Tap Export & Share to render an MP4 and send it anywhere.
Starting over
Delete Time-lapse removes every captured frame for that project so you can record a fresh one. This cannot be undone.
TIP
Turn recording on at the very start of a drawing to capture the whole process. You can leave it on the whole time: snapshots are small and capped so they will not fill up your iPad.
