Select, move & transform

The Select tool lets you pick up part of your drawing and move, resize, rotate, flip, duplicate, or delete it.

Selecting

1. Tap the Select tool and choose a mode:
   • Rectangle: drag a box around the area.
   • Lasso: draw a freehand loop around the area.
2. Drag on the canvas to make your selection. DoodLoop lifts that part of the art so you can work with it.

Moving and transforming

Once something is selected:

• Drag it to move it.
• Use two fingers to scale and rotate it.
• Squash & stretch: drag the round handles on the edges to stretch the selection along one axis, independently, perfect for the classic squash-and- stretch of animation.
• Use the on-screen buttons to flip it horizontally or vertically, duplicate it, cut it, or delete it.

When you are happy, tap Done to drop it back into the drawing. Everything is undoable.

Tips

• Selection works on the current layer.
• Copy something once and paste it across frames to reuse a pose or a prop.
• If a transform ever looks off, tap Undo and try again, nothing is committed until you tap Done.
